DREAMER

One item on my bucket list is to motorcycle around the world (RTW). I’d love to share special education knowledge and skills with educators and families so they can continue to help their children thrive and exceed expectations in all aspects of life – school, work, and play!

My dreams of a RTW trip were first inspired by the writings of Ted Simon, who I’ve met twice. He first circumnavigated the world on a motorcycle in 1973. And then repeated his trip at the age of 70, reconnecting with many of the people he met 27 years earlier. He is generally credited as the father of the motorcycle travelogue genre. His Foundation supports and continues to encourage adventure travelers to share their experiences through writing, film and photography. Maybe, someday I will.

I love work – probably obvious by now…writing, speaking and advancing education brings me joy!

I love motorcycle camping – 12 national parks, two rides to Canada, one ride from Phoenix, AZ to Washington, DC…

I love travel – 15 countries and counting…
