Changing the behavior of students, begins with teachers and administrators changing their behavior first. This is a fact.
Often, when we talk about behavior, we separate it from conversations about learning and academics. But the truth is that the two go hand-in-hand. So, when we talk about learning we have to think about how our ideas will effect student behavior. For students with behavior problems we are often so focused on behavior intervenitons that we neglect to consider that the behaivor problem might not reside in the student but in the teaching and learning environment. This is where technology can and should play a larger role when we discuss student behavior.
Students today learn differently then the students of yesterday. When there is a disconnect, behavior problems can result. Technology can change the learning environment and this might be key to eliminating some behavior problems in the classroom.
